Easy Come | Easy Go

Tuesday, 4 February 2014

Things that arrive too easily are as likely to depart as easily..

This is probably one of my favorite t-shirts ever. I like its trendy and youthful design it gives to any ensemble, especially when worn with dark pieces.

This t-shirt is also memorable cos I got it from Bershka, the brand where I had my first job after college. I must say, the experience was amazing. I learned a lot of things, from supervising and training the staff to coordinating the store (my favorite) and a lot more! I'm also glad I was able to work with the best, very talented and creative team.

Sad though, I had to leave cos of unexpected event occurred in my life. Time for better opportunities, I guess?!

Anything Blue

Preppy look with a twist!

One of the backlog posts during the Holidays! This was taken after a quick shoot I had with Bjorn for his KalsadaPH project. To know more about it, Check the Facebook page here. These photos were actually taken by a random person at the mall, lol!

On to my outfit, I wore a blue on blue again. In different shade, of course. I had this blue phase in my life, lol! where I kept on buying anything blue. I don't know to you but aside from the flattering black, blue is also an easy color to wear and pair with anything. On this look, I paired it with neutral pieces to let the color be the focal point of my look.

Holidaze

Tuesday, 28 January 2014

Plaids are back! Well, not really. I think they are timeless and versatile. This shirt is actually my favorite during the Holidays (until now). It can spice up your look! I tend to wear it as it is, as a cover up with a white button-down shirt or I just tie it around my waist for that grunge feel.

Hiatus is Over

Sunday, 26 January 2014

My apologies for the sudden hiatus which I didn't really expect to be that long! I was too busy after graduation..(excuses) Now that I'm a bum, I have a lot of time to update this blog.

I hope it's not yet late to greet you all a Happy New Year!! I can feel that 2014 will be a better year. Here's to new beginnings and new experiences! I'm excited and scared at the same time for the coming days because I'll be getting out of my comfort zone (literally lol) which I'll share to you all soon!

As my comeback post, here's my go-to outfit these past few months. Hoodies, t-shirt, cap and trainers. The look inspired by the streets!

I'm starting to be a sneaker kind of guy. I used to prefer brogues and loafers but can you blame me? It's a combination of style and comfort! It actually adds a retro feel to any ensemble.

Baseball cap is my accessory of choice lately.. It adds a youthful vibe to any of my looks!

So here's my first post this year! Expect a lot of backlog posts and please bear with me as I'm still fixing my layout! Cheers!

90's Kid

Orange is the S/S 2013 color trend

Here's my "I don't care what I look" today inspired by the 90's fashion. The flannel shirt tied around the waist screams 90's. To complete the look, I've used my retro 2-way sunnies and Vans classic.

Shorts for Summer

Friday, 29 March 2013

Yesterday my family visited 14 churches for our annual Visita Iglesia. We started from Alabang to Greenhills then went back again to Alabang and had mass at St. James. I wore something comfortable, because I knew  we'll do a lot of walking and the heat is so intense these past few days!

This summer, it's a must have to own a good pair of shorts. Just make sure that your shorts aren't too baggy, but not too tight and it should just end above the knee.

It's time to throw (okay, keep) your shorts with cargo pockets, guys. I also find it ironic when the shorts are too long. LOL!
Polo shirts are perfect for lazy days without even looking lazy at all! The subtle details made this outfit look more interesting!

By the way, RSSI is looking for young and fashionable 20 individuals to be part of this year's League of Fashion!

To all the fashion enthusiasts or just want to have a productive summer, you better join this internship! Aside from the benefits and gift certificates, you'll also learn more about RSSI brands (Topshop, Topman, Warehouse, Ben Sherman, etc.),  fashion retailing, you'll also experience styling the mannequins and a lot more! Last summer, I really had the best summer experience ever! If I'm allowed to join again, I will definitely do!

I heard, this year, the theme will be Coachella! Sounds exciting, right?

*The deadline got extended! You can submit your entries until April 4, 2013! Just follow the mechanics shown on the poster above! Good luck!

Officially Unemployed

Wednesday, 27 March 2013

I'm officially unemployed! I don't know if I'll be happy about it lol, but I'm just so happy that I'm finally done with college!

Here's my graduation outfit. This was taken at Bellevue after our family dinner yesterday (more of that on my next post). We're required to wear pastel colors, so I chose this mint green oxford shirt and this blue knitted tie to add texture to my outfit.

I used a tie clip to add detail and personality to my look!
Tie and shirt from my new favorite store, Uniqlo!
These Milanos shoes with blue soles gave more character to my outfit!

Vanilla Cupcake

Saturday, 23 March 2013

I went to this new cupcake place in Alabang Town Center called Vanilla Cupcake Bakery with my friends after our graduation practice. The place is so inviting that has very cool, dainty and picture-worthy furniture.
I love how ATC is expanding and opening new stores for us, south people!

Took advantage of the place and had my outfit photos taken there! I know, it's been a while since my last outfit post. Ugh!
I wanted to take home this Daphne chair! So gorgeous!
My summer shoes!

What do you think of my outfit?

Outfit: Oxygen denim jacket, United Colors of Benetton polo-shirt and loafers, Uniqlo shorts and Casio watch

Lovin' the vintage feel of this Casio watch I ordered from Watchfactory! ☺
The red velvet cake is so yummy! It's not too sweet, for me.

I should've taken more pictures of the furniture and cupcakes. But anyway, this will probably be my new hang-out place! If you love sweets and fan of vintage stuff, this place is perfect for you.
Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is located at 2nd floor of Corte De las Palmas above Starbucks!

A Pop of Camo

Saturday, 9 March 2013

(Vintage Denim Jacket, Penshoppe shirt, Pierre Cardin camouflage neck tie and belt from SM Accessories, Bench Chinos and Zara Oxford Sneakers)

If you don't feel like wearing bold camouflage pieces, why not incorporate it through subtle details? This Pierre Cardin camouflage necktie from SM Accessories really made a statement!

I went to this new place at Fort Strip called URBN for the 20th Birthday celebration of Nina! I super loved the place, great music, very nice ambiance and it's not that crowded!  It really saved the world on a Friday night haha!

Gold Rush

Tuesday, 5 March 2013

Here's my outfit when I attended the CMS Fusion: Gold Rush last Monday!

This Memo pink shirt is really my favorite, because it's so versatile and goes well with anything.  I wanted the cardigan to be the focal point of this outfit, so I wore pastel colors. Cardigans can really make your outfit smarter and well put together aesthetic.

As they say, confidence is the key when wearing colors like these!

Summer is already here!!! The color Blue is also one of the color trends this SS2013 ( Bur for me, this color is always on trend and they're never out.)

I chose these vintage shoes for a classier look!

CMS (Communication and Media Studies) Fusion is a yearly event organize by the 3rd year students for the graduating students. It is a variety show and awards night at the same time. The goal of this event is also to showcase the talents of all the CMS students. This year, the theme was Fusion: Gold Rush, we're named as the golden batch, because every time there's a contest, we always win. I didn't bother to take a lot of photos, because I wanted to relax and just enjoy the show.
The event was hosted by Ralph & Burnice. They're such a witty host!

They also awarded different CMS students who are successful in their own fields... There were IT girl, Face of the year, Media man of the year, etc. and guess what? I got the Fashionista award! Haha

I looked so silly haha
This is really unexpected! Thank you guys, really. I'm so speechless! Thanks for noticing my effort to dress up every wash day at School. haha! Yes, I had to dance the HARLEM SHAKE to show my gratitude to everyone.

The last and much awaited performance of my friends. Too bad, the upcoming batches won't see how great performers these people are.

Group shot with my batch mates.
After this shot, all of us hugged and congratulated each other cos we made it! I will definitely miss this FUN batch! I'm so proud of what we've become. I hope all of us will have a more brighter future ahead of us and I wish all our wishes will do come true!

I would like to Congratulate all the people behind this successful  event! You guys really made our remaining days in college memorable. CMS the BEST!!
Yay! Me holding the award + with my friends
They also gave us this cute cupcake!
Then, I had dinner at Chili's with my favorite people to celebrate and to "salubong" the birthday of my good friend, Nina!
Big Mouth Burger Bites is so yummy especially the onion rings dipped with ranch dressing! Uggh I'm craving right now!

Anyway, this month is actually the anniversary month of this blog! How time flies so fast! May sasali kaya if I'll hold a blog giveaway?! LOL! If there's anyone who wants to sponsor my first blog giveaway, just e-mail me at adrianayds@gmail.com! :)
